“No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself.”
—Virginia Woolf
Note from the Author:
Anxiety plagues a good portion of the population of the world. We are always worried about what people think, our accomplishments, our lives, etc, and we get caught up in worrying. Everyone worries, and anyone who says they don’t is lying. Anxiety is that X1000. It is a struggle every day on not letting your brain take over and your anxiety going through the roof. It’s making small choices in hopes that the unknown of those choices don’t cause a breakdown. If you don’t know what it’s like to deal with anxiety on the day to day, please do not tell someone to get over it. It’s the most insensitive thing that anyone could ever do or say to someone struggling with any mental illness. To those who struggle, you can do this. You may not have it all together, but you can do it. Take each day moment by moment. No one can tell you that your feelings aren’t valid. They are valid, and you can control them. It will take work and preparation, but you can do it!
“Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
—Charles Spurgeon

“Anxiety was born in the very same moment as mankind. And since we will never be able to master it, we will have to learn to live with it— just as we have learned to live with storms.”
—Paulo Coelho
“How much pain have cost us the evils which have never happened.”
—Thomas Jefferson
“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly.”
—Anonymous proverb
